This beautiful ancient Parry Nolina was found up high on the side of an extent volcano in Joshua Tree National Park on the Lost Horse Loop. There were many old plants but this one caught my eye with the great shadow on the trail and the endless view. I created painterly, digital piece of art from this photograph.
As an essentially self-taught artist, I have found my own truths and artistic paths. I am naturally curious and fervid about understanding new techniques, making the self-learning process a challenge I enjoy. Through the years, I have studied printmaking, drawing, painting, and graphic design, and I feel fortunate to have had a very successful career in that extremely competitive field.
