Artist's Description
This was created from several photos. The background was a photo of a shadow taken against a boulder, the fish were flat fish and very brown and dark in color. Texture overlays, blending in Adobe Photoshop of several overlays, took it from there to Corel Painter and added some painterly elements then back to OnOne Software for color and detail adjustments. A fun project full of teaching moments. Comments are always appreciated.

As an essentially self-taught artist, I have found my own truths and artistic paths. I am naturally curious and fervid about understanding new techniques, making the self-learning process a challenge I enjoy. Through the years, I have studied printmaking, drawing, painting, and graphic design, and I feel fortunate to have had a very successful career in that extremely competitive field.
