This photo has filters which has a feeling of albumen silver prints, were invented in 1850 by Louis Désiré Blanquart-Evrard, and was the first commercially exploitable method of producing a photographic print on a paper base from a negative. Many of the old original prints which use this process are amazing even by todays standards.
This photo was taken at Joshua Tree National Park as a color photo. I made a couple of different styles which created a whole different effect on each photo.
As an essentially self-taught artist, I have found my own truths and artistic paths. I am naturally curious and fervid about understanding new techniques, making the self-learning process a challenge I enjoy. Through the years, I have studied printmaking, drawing, painting, and graphic design, and I feel fortunate to have had a very successful career in that extremely competitive field.
