Artist's Description
When I visited Italy several years ago I did know have any knowledge of photography so the photos were with a small Nikon camera and JPGS. The resolution allowed for them to at best be 8X10 photos. I still wanted to use the image to create a painting. I used many layers of color, textures and working of details to come up with my vision of the sunsetting as a storm is rolling in. I wanted to create a feeling of drama and movement in the sky. This painting would work best printed on a canvas.
