This photo was taken at sunset in Joshua Tree National Park. I decided to try some different digital effects and this one worked well. It is a digital version of Ambrotype used in the early 1850s in the United States. This technique adds an interesting dimension to this photo.
As an essentially self-taught artist, I have found my own truths and artistic paths.
