This painting was done for a friend of mine who lives in Montana. The landscape in the background was from a photo I took in Montana and the angus cow was a pal of hers. Every time she walked by the neighbor farm he would run to the fence to greet her.

As an essentially self-taught artist, I have found my own truths and artistic paths. I am naturally curious and fervid about understanding new techniques, making the self-learning process a challenge I enjoy.
