An organic assemblage of desert leaves, twigs, and brown palm fronds combined into a beautiful semi-abstract art. All the leaves were salvaged from the ground while walking around Wickenburg, Arizona. The palm fronds were found in the Hassayampa River Preserve near our home. I find beauty in every place I look.
As an essentially self-taught artist, I have found my own truths and artistic paths. I am naturally curious and fervid about understanding new techniques, making the self-learning process a challenge I enjoy. Through the years, I have studied printmaking, drawing, painting, and graphic design, and I feel fortunate to have had a very successful career in that extremely competitive field. While art is, by nature, intuitive and emotive, my process is relatively straightforward.
